Chat-bubble look
This is two alternatives to the current card-look. With this design i think it looks a little bit like a chat-boubble. (Like a speak-boubble that you see in comics). To the right of the profile picture a half romb, the size of half the profile picture can be seen. This shape is the same color as the post but not a part of the post (text from the document doesn't wrap inside the shape).
Another diffrence that I've noticed about this look compared to the old is that the two lines that separete each post now seem to be a part of the left-dark region. The space in between the two dark lines now looks like a medium-bright line in the left dark region.
Smaller posts
Another ideas that i have but havn't made intoo an image:
For posts that contain little text, (for example "Nice!"), the profile picture and the height of the post is smaller. This would make them different from posts with more text and would mean that there would be two different types of posts in the forum.
Circle around profile-picture
The second image shown above displays an idea where profile-pictures have circles around them. The line in the circle has the same width as the medium-bright line in between the two lines that separate posts.
